What's in season: a New York flower calendar
May 12, 2025
At Rainmeter, the calendar is written by the flowers, not the other way around. Buying in season means better blooms, better value and a smaller footprint — and it keeps every arrangement feeling rooted in the moment.
Spring opens with tulips, ranunculus and the first peonies; by high summer we are deep in garden roses, dahlias and sweet peas. Autumn brings chrysanthemums and the last dahlias, while winter is the season of amaryllis, anemone and fragrant paperwhites.
If there is a particular stem you love, tell us — we can often source it ahead of its peak, and we will always be honest about when something is at its very best.
